#MontereyBaySeafood: helping people find local, sustainable seafood

v-VQIAjA.jpeg

The Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust was formed in partnership with the fishing community, harbormasters, markets, and conservation groups. Together, we address challenges and find economic and environmental solutions so that seafood harvesters can continue to provide a sustainable catch to our community. Now, more than ever, it’s essential to connect with food harvested and grown close to home, both to feed our families, and to support our local economy.

This month, we’re launching a campaign called #MontereyBaySeafood to connect people to local seafood and make it clear how our community can support the fishing industry. Over the next several months, we’ll be sharing resources, stories and recipes that make it easier for consumers to find local seafood and engage with our fishing community.

Will you help us get started by taking these three steps?

1. Follow Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram for stories & recipes
2. Spread the word - share posts about #MontereyBaySeafood via email & social media with friends & family
3. Sign up for email updates below - we'll keep in touch about how to find local, sustainable seafood & share stories & recipes
