These one of a kind events connect diners with the hardworking men and women who harvest Monterey Bay seafood and the chefs that discerningly source and prepare their local catch. Members of our fishing community share their experiences on the water, and attendees learn about the benefits of sustainably harvested seafood while enjoying thoughtfully prepared dishes at restaurants, wineries, and other venues throughout Monterey and Santa Cruz counties.

A portion of ticket sales for each dinner goes to the MBFT Community Seafood Program. We purchase seafood from local fishermen and suppliers, which is donated to food relief groups in our area. Current partners include the Food Bank of Monterey County, Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula, Second Harvest Food Bank, Big Sur Big Share, Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes, and Al and Friends. Together, we are supporting the local fishing economy and feeding our community!

“The Community Seafood Program has allowed us to share something that is hard to come by in our community. We believe that a sustainable food system is essential to the health of a community, and the CSP and MBFT share our mission. We couldn’t be more happy with the collaboration!”
