On January 11, 2021, BOEM issued a News Release announcing the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment for the Humboldt Wind Energy Area (WEA) located approximately 20 miles off Humboldt County, California. BOEM is seeking public comment until February 10th at 11:59pm. During the public comment period, BOEM will host two virtual public meetings to allow the public to learn more about the Draft EA, ask questions, and provide oral testimony.
