Webinar: The Role of Adaptive Capacity in Enhancing Climate-Resilient Fisheries

  • Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust 99 Pacific Street, Heritage Harbor #575C Monterey, CA, 93940 United States (map)

Adaptive capacity refers to a fishery’s ability to cope with change while continuing to deliver its desired social, ecological, and economic outcomes. While concepts of adaptive capacity are well studied, they remain abstract in their application, and research has not yet led to appreciable changes in fisheries decision-making. Thus, there is a need to jointly identify these components with scientists, decision-makers, and stakeholders.
