The Habitat Committee is holding an online meeting Wednesday Feb 24th, 1-5pm, to hear presentations from NOAA and BOEM on Aquaculture Opportunity Areas and offshore wind energy siting, respectively, as part of the Marine Planning March agenda item.  Advisory bodies (ABs) should have at least one representative attend, who can then report to the AB as appropriate.  ABs are encouraged to develop supplemental reports for the March Council meeting.  

ABs should consider commenting on:

·  The mapping portals (interface, useability, etc)

·  Mapping portal data (what should be included for decision-making)

·  Siting/mapping public process as described by NOAA and BOEM

·  Suggestions on how the PFMC can provide input on aquaculture and offshore wind energy siting in the future (i.e. what is the optimum way to be involved in the future).
