The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) still has funds available, but the money is expected to run out within a couple of weeks. Most fishermen qualify for these loans, which can be 100% forgiven, but many fishermen have not applied. This one-hour zoom meeting is designed to help fishermen and fish businesses learn more about how it works and how to apply. It will include a presentation by Brett Melone of California FarmLink with an opportunity for discussion and Q&A. The Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust is hosting this meeting in partnership with CA FarmLink and the Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen's Associations.
