Last August, the City of Monterey put out a request for proposals for two spaces on Monterey's Commercial Wharf II: (1) Groundfish Buyer and Processor Lease; and (2) Wetfish Offloader Lease. On February 19th, the City Council will be reviewing the proposals that were submitted, and there will be an opportunity to provide public comment.

City Council meetings are open public forums where the Council makes local laws, policies, and basic decisions relating to the City. The Monterey City Council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 4 and 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 580 Pacific Street. Meetings are broadcast live on the Monterey Channel and streamed on the web.
